Die dritte Ausgabe der Australia Zoo-Serie der Royal Australian Mint ist dem Elefanten gewidmet. Das Motiv zeigt eine detailreiche Abbildung des majestätischen Elefanten. Es wird umrandet von den Aufschriften "AUSTRALIA ZOO" und "ELEPHANT" sowie dem Gewicht und Feingehalt. Inspiriert wurde das Design von Fotos, die vom Sohn des berühmten Dokumentarfilmers Steve Irwin, im Australia Zoo aufgenommen wurden. Auf der Rückseite ist das Jody Clark Porträt von Königin Elizabeth II abgebildet. Der Nennwert "1 DOLLAR" sowie die Aufschriften "ELIZABETH II" und "AUSTRALIA 2022" sind ebenfalls im Design enthalten.
